When a dental concern has grown beyond a single tooth, such as several failing teeth, a removable denture that no longer feels secure, or a smile that needs a coordinated plan, Casa Adobes patients can turn to Rutledge Dental. Our Oro Valley practice brings implant, restorative, and preventive care together with two dentists who hold advanced implant training, so complex care can be planned, explained, and followed through by the same team.

Every recommendation begins with diagnosis and conversation. The team reviews your health history, teeth, gums, bite, and existing restorations, gathers appropriate digital records, and then walks through findings, alternatives, benefits, limitations, and maintenance. Treatment recommendations are based on health needs, and financial conversations are handled separately and transparently, including current financing options.
All-On-4 and Dental Implants for Casa Adobes Patients
All-On-4 Full-Arch Implants
All-On-4® dental implants are designed for patients who need to replace most or all teeth in an upper or lower arch. Rather than placing an implant for every missing tooth, treatment uses four to six strategically positioned titanium implants to support a custom full-arch restoration. This can reduce the movement associated with removable dentures and support more confident speaking and chewing. When appropriate, a fixed temporary arch may be placed the day of surgery. Candidacy is confirmed through an exam and 3D imaging.
The goal is not simply to place implants. Rutledge Dental combines 3D imaging, computer-guided planning, and a coordinated restoration process so implant position, tooth position, bite, facial support, the provisional and final restorations, and long-term maintenance are planned as one connected case. Eligibility is determined clinically, not from a photograph or an online checklist.
The All-On-4 Treatment Process
Full-arch treatment is completed in carefully sequenced phases. It begins with a comprehensive consultation about your concerns, health history, current teeth, gums, bite, and any experience with a denture. Three-dimensional records then help evaluate bone, implant positions, tooth arrangement, and facial support. Implants are placed according to that digital and restorative plan, with extractions or additional procedures completed when indicated, and sedation options are discussed individually. If the implants achieve appropriate stability, a fixed provisional arch may be connected while healing begins, along with a modified soft-food diet. After healing and integration, the final restoration is refined for fit, bite, speech, cleaning access, and appearance.
Long-term care is active care. A fixed full-arch restoration is not maintenance-free, so the team demonstrates the cleaning tools and techniques that fit your restoration and schedules implant maintenance visits. You will be asked to report looseness, discomfort, bite changes, or tissue changes promptly, and to avoid smoking and other habits that increase implant risk.
Single-Tooth Dental Implants
For one or several missing teeth, dental implants replace the missing root with support for a crown, bridge, or larger restoration. A single implant can replace a tooth without preparing neighboring teeth for crowns, and bone integration commonly occurs over several months before the final restoration. When a natural tooth can still be saved, same-day crowns can restore many qualified teeth in one visit, and regular dental cleanings help protect both natural teeth and implant restorations.
Patients consider implants for more than appearance. Functional loading through an implant can help maintain bone in the treated area, although anatomy and health still influence long-term changes. Implants are also flexible: they may support one crown, a bridge, a removable overdenture, or a fixed full-arch restoration. In full-arch cases, angled and strategically positioned implants may help use available bone and can reduce the need for extensive grafting in some cases. The dentist will explain which design fits your bone, bite, and goals, and what each option asks of you in healing and care.

Casa Adobes Dental FAQs
Could All-On-4 be appropriate for me?
A consultation is appropriate when failing teeth, extensive tooth loss, or an unstable removable denture is affecting comfort, function, or confidence. Your health history and bone anatomy determine whether implant treatment is suitable.
How long does implant healing take?
Bone integration around an implant commonly occurs over several months. Your dentist will explain the expected stages for your specific plan.
